Our world has already changed. Intensive crop farming, exhausted soil, long term storage, distribution, unhealthy food environments have resulted in plant and animal products being particularly poor in micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc.) According to studies carried out by universities and institutes, the decline in many cases is as high as 95% (e.g. vitamin B6 in bananas). This has led the renowned Harvard School of Public Health to the conclusion that every person is now required to take a dietary supplement (multivitamin) daily, as a form of nutritional insurance to cover nutritional deficiencies.
A new global PANDEMIC is changing the world
A new global PANDEMIC is changing the world. Behind the pompous title lies a great truth. Our world has already changed. The industrialization of food over the last 150 years or so has had a number of profound consequences. Intensive crop farming, exhausted soil, long term storage, distribution, unhealthy food environments have resulted in plant and animal products being particularly poor in micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc.)

According to studies carried out by universities and institutes, the decline in many cases is as high as 95% (e.g. vitamin B6 in bananas).

This has led the renowned Harvard School of Public Health to the conclusion that every person is now required to take a dietary supplement (multivitamin) daily, as a form of nutritional insurance to cover nutritional deficiencies.

The main problem with food formulations (vitamins, etc.) is the limited absorption of the ingredients due to the destruction of the ingredients when passing through the acidic environment of the stomach and the subsequent reduced absorption from the small intestine.

The technologies that have been used up until now (Colloidal Ions,Bilipid Lilayers,Liposome encapsulation,Salt preps, Polymorphic forms, Film Coatings, etc.) have remained unchanged and have not progressed since the 1970’s.
Reduced absorption
results in the ingestion of a much larger amount of each ingredient (vitamins, minerals etc.) so that after the inevitable breakdown and destruction by the stomach acids, at least the necessary percentage reaches the blood stream and cells.

This means that if someone wants to enrich their diet with all the essential nutrients, they would have to spend a respectable amount of money every month and swallow a large number of pills every day.

So it would be safe to say that with today’s nutritionally bankrupt foods and the body’s inability to absorb 100% of even the healthiest whole foods, malnutrition seems to be the new global pandemic that affects every single one of us and is not tackled effectively.

Science today accepts food degradation as the cause of most health problems, especially of autoimmune diseases. Psoriasis, cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis (which unfortunately rises rapidly over the age of 30), psychological disorders such as depression and various neurological disorders, could have been greatly avoided with careful and balanced nutrition.

But given the inability of the land to produce nutrient-rich food and the inability of the industry to find solutions, how can one make up for nutritional deficiencies at an affordable cost?

Is there a solution? We deserve to enjoy the benefits of technological advances without suffering the effects of immoderate industrial development.
